Lower-case Roman numerals in parentheses (ii)
From the janitor at the Viet Nam Literature Project
Every title of a Viet Nam letter may appear again and again indefinitely until I stop writing any at all. Below I have listed each Viet Nam letter title by the highest number of times published.
Every title groups with others under that number given in lower-case Roman numerals within parentheses. So far, exactly 33 different titles have appeared (i) time.
Exactly 15 have appeared (ii) times; 7,(iii); 3, (iv); 7, (v); 4,(vi); 3, (vii); none have appeared (viii); and 1 only, (ix). The date of the most recent post of each title appears directly afterwards in italics.
I have ordered the groups from most appearances to least, and titles within each group from oldest to most recent. I have assembled this data so that I may consider, when choosing the next Viet Nam letter, whether to address the oldest title in each category in turn or follow some other scheme to write all I have to say.
